Training for weight-inclusive public health

Weight discrimination is pervasive in public health, from the stigmatising imagery in campaigns to unconsciously biased policies.

It's a hidden yet powerful barrier to engagement in services like screening and chronic illness management.

We offer specialist workshops for public health teams, and those involved in delivering public health services to recognise and address weight discrimination. We are currently working with several local authority public health teams to support them embedding weight-inclusive, non-stigmatising approaches to their work.
